ISAAC-NF (International Society of Augmentative and Alternative Communication - Netherlands and Flanders) is an advocacy organization for everyone who cannot speak well (enough) or does not understand spoken language well (enough).
The goal of ISAAC-NF is to improve the lives of children, young people, and adults with communication disabilities through the use of augmentative and alternative communication (e.g., individual pictograms, gestures, objects, speech computers, and communication books) by:
- Raising awareness of augmentative communication
- Disseminating knowledge and expertise about augmentative communication
- Providing a platform for AAC users and their environment
- Advocating for the interests of people with communication disabilities
